Electrical (Final) – Final Inspection Checklist

This checklist ensures that all final electrical installations and connections are completed to standard before the trade contractor leaves the jobsite. Install all faceplates square, plumb, and snug against walls

Test all receptacles to ensure they work as required

Hook up and test all appliances

Test the garbage disposal

Install and test all light fixtures

Hook up and test smoke detectors

Test the outside disconnect

Hook up and test HVAC units

Hook up and test bath fans and ceiling fans

Hook up and test the doorbell

Ensure the wire for the light over the kitchen sink is not visible above the lip of the top cabinet

Pass the inspection

Clean the house and remove all debris
